Wow -what a great start to the New year! We have had decent reports from just about everyone that has ventured out to ice fish these last few days. A few brave souls have even gone out onto lake Erie and have gotten into some walleye.
Most of the ponds and reservoirs have anywhere from 4-8 inches developed-each body of water is different, and as a result ice development is determined by depth, current,snow coverage and so on.
As the temps continue to drop this week we expect to see better ice development out on the big lake.
