Maumee River
The level has been dropping since the rain last week. The water up near Grand Rapids OH has produced some nice walleye/saugeye over the weekend, its still up and moving as you can see by the picture so exercise caution. Simple rigs like a lead head with a twister tail is what seems to be working.
Lake Erie
Western basin surface temp is right around 48-50 degrees and dropping as the days consistently get cooler. The night walleye bite is starting to get better. Catawba, Lakeside , Huron all doing better than last week–as long as the winds cooperate.
