Maumee River Report- 13 March 2019

Sunrise/First Cast-  7:51 am

Sunset / Last Cast- 7:38 pm

Weight: 3/4oz – 1 oz

Yesterday was nice and sunny–felt good to be outside. The sunshine warmed the water just like we need it to, up to 36 degrees today and with it being over 50 we should see it inch closer to that 40 degree mark.  This warm water will trigger that first push of fish to come up from the lake . Now walleye spawn closer to that 45 degree mark but this warmup will get them moving our way. Still waiting to see the first one pulled out of the river.

Have fun be safe and good luck fishing
