brrr.. it’s 32 degrees out there this morning.
We saw some big ones yesterday. A bunch of eight, nine, 10 pound females 26 inches and up .
Jerome Rd., Rapids is where the big ones were hanging out. We saw a few from Orleans Park as well.
Is the water drops that area upstream of buttonwood, and the tip of bluegrass is usually a good one for some of these monsters that are rolling in right now.
The last couple of cold nights are helping keep the river from getting too warm, too fast.
Still some good walleye fishing left here in the river. I’m also hearing that the jig bite out on Lake Erie is very good, as long as the winds aren’t crazy howling out there.
