Fish fry/lent special: we have fresh perch for sale, $9.99 a pound.
Well while we are waiting for the Walleye to show up for the spring run it looks like this little bit of rain and snow melt is bringing the river level up a foot or so. There are a few guys go out and take advantage of the warmer weather in Clearwater, test out their gear see if they can’t hook into something. Nothing yet, but it’s way early. One thing to note there’s still a significant amount of ice above the dam in Grand Rapids, Once that fully breaks up and makes its way through our area we can start looking for some walleyes in ernest.
We are fully stacked up with everything you need for spring, whether it’s out on the lake or in the river.
we got a bunch of new Floater colors this year, some different variations on purples, black with googly eyes, some different orange and black combos and a bunch more.
Also as you may have seen our custom shop rods came in the other day and they look really nice. We made up some sweet combos with some Shimano reels as well that have worked really good on the river in the past.
OK the key to this whole spring run is water temperature, and once that warms up with some sunshine and warm rain it’ll be on.
Also once the ice clears from a lot of these ponds and reservoirs should be able to get into some crappy along the shoreline in various places. We got a good stack Minnows if you got a little honey hole you’re gonna be looking at.
Have fun, be safe, good luck Fishing
