BLUEGRASS ISLAND: Crossing to bluegrass Island is permitted- right at crossable level.

All areas are open.

Still seeing some big walleye pulled out of the river.

SPRING SPAWNING RULES STILL IN EFFECT UNTILL MAY 1ST- ON ANY TRIBUTARY OF LAKE ERIE ( THE MAUMEE AND SANDUSKY RIVERS) DOESNT MATTER WHAT SPECIES OF FISH YOU ARE TARGETING.

TODAY
South winds 15 to 20 knots becoming southwest. A slight chance of showers this morning, then a chance of showers early this afternoon. Showers late. Waves 2 to 4 feet building to 3 to 5 feet, then subsiding to 2 to 4 feet.

TONIGHT
Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming west. Showers early, then a chance of showers late in the evening. A slight chance of showers after midnight. Waves 1 to 3 feet.

Heard of some mixed reports the last few days both out jigging and trolling. Lots of muddy water out there, Anglers that got into some clear water seemed to have done better. Been a windy 6 months it seems like April is always iffy with the spring winds, thena sun shiny day, then a pop up storm – an over all mixed bag of weather conditions.
