Maumee river report 28 July 23

The rain we got the last two days really has not affected the water levels, we are still very very low. However, it did cool the river off a little bit and woke the fish up. Today I saw a smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, Catfish, sheephead, carp and a white bass all caught  within an hour by the Providence dam . not a bad day of fishing. The little squarebill, cotton Cordell‘s, a lead head with a twister tail or drop a nightcrawler, and let it bounce on the bottom. All three of those baitss were working equally well..
