Rain and rising water are gonna push these white bass closer into shore. I ran down to the river yesterday for a minute saw a bunch caught all within 510 feet of shore. The river is not raging but it’s moving pretty good so those fish are trying to get out of the heavier current in the middle of the river, and sticking closer to shore.
Catfish are still biting good, drop a nice big fat juicy worm out there and hang on.
Same with the small mouth, throw out a little swim bait/rooster tail. Look for those Areas just below the Rapids , the small mouth like to lay up there and smack a Bait as it comes by.
have fun, be safe, and good luck fishing.
