Maumee river report- 8 January 2020

Stephen pulled this walleye out of the river using a pearl colored tail on a 1/8 oz leadhead jig, up in the providence dam area.

Looks like the river is continuing to drop . Tonight is going to be cold then we are looking at a warmup, close to 60 degrees again, as we get to the weekend. Looking at the conditions Im thinking that the next two days ought to be good to target some steelhead, walleye. saugeye and pike . Clear and cold just how they like it.

Have fun, be safe and good luck fishing.
