Maumee River Report and Last Minute Christmas sales

Yesterday we saw some slush  ice developing all up and down the river but the afternoon sunshine has melted most ice in the area. There is still some open water that can be safely targeted .  NEVER ICE FISH RUNNING WATER-RIVERS–fall through and the current sucks you right under the ice. Waiting on a good deep freeze to freeze the local area ponds and reservoirs solid.
