Saw limits very early again yesterday–we are in the peak spawning time right now. This weekends weather may be a little rainy but the fish dont mind so we expect a good weekend of fishing for our tournament.
All access areas but Bluegrass are accessible today and we saw a limits come in from all over the river. Remember that the walleye don’t just go up to Jerome Rapids and stop. Fish above the rapids for a change, not a soul was there yesterday despite waves of fresh walleye filling the river. Bendview park , which is a continuation of the Towpath and Farnswoth metro park are also areas with very little fishing pressure. Stop in and we can direct you to a nice peaceful area to fish.
