TEMP- 48 degrees

Barometer: 29.86 and falling

Sunrise : 7:13 AM (First cast)

Sunset: 8:02PM (Last cast)

Yesterday with the warmer temps and rain affecting the river the bite was steady throughout the day. We saw some good action all day at Orleans park and White street, the drain pipe area on Maumee side across from Ft. Meigs and a few spots on the Towpath. As this week warms the river we anticipate the bite getting better each day . This coming weekend is predicted to be in the 60s sunny and great fishing weather. So far the tournament and appreciation day is still on.

Weight: 3/4 to 1 oz

Leader:48 inches

Colors: orange head/chartreuse firetail , green head powerbait fire tiger tail ,and green head pink sparkle tail.

Ft meigs , Buttonwood, the Towpath and Jerome rd will be good areas to try today. As the water level has dropped a foot anglers are able to spread out and test recently un-fished waters. Its a big river and there are a lot of holes that those walleye lay up in..dont be afraid to explore a stretch of river that doesn’t have 25 anglers trying to pull fish out of one hole. The river is ever changing especially after a few days of high water and fast current.  We have maps available that reference the main fishing areas for those of you unfamiliar with our part of the river.
We still have a good selection of waders available in all sizes to fit all budgets. Lacrosse King size for those of you 6’3″ and taller, and Lacrosse and Proline Stouts for those BIG fishermen still in stock.
