Still frozen and locked up tight. The next few days are going to warm up and even get a little bit of rain. This will probably loosen up the river ice and get it moving in the next week or so.
Local Ice
Pretty good reports all over the area. East Harbor state park just past Port Clinton, OH seems like it is the place to be go to pick up a few bluegill and crappie the last 2 days . A few anglers are out there today as well.
Lake erie off Catawba saw a few anglers head out and pick up some walleye and perch.
All the local pond and lakes have between 5-7 inches, and we had good reports from Evergreen , Delta reservoir and just about all the farm pond that anglers hit this weekend. Once the wind dropped off the fishing improved .
Wax worms or minnows jigged just off the bottom seems to be the ticket.
As we warm up in the area be careful-Ice that was stable this morning but may change quickly overnight and become very sketchy.
