Seen limits in the early morning again yesterday, the first one started coming in between 8 and 8:30 AM. Josh, the fish cleaner was out in our lot busy all day cleaning fish. We are seeing a lot of good size jacks- 18 to 22 inches is about the average. Hear tell of a few big females being caught as well, maybe even a 28 inch or two, least that’s what we heard . Regardless it’s been a very good couple of days out here on the river. The water level has dropped significantly so we are right there in about the average range.
Fish were caught at all access points up and down the river Jerome Rd., Buttonwood, Davis Overlook, all along the Towpath, Ford Street, out in front of Fort Meigs, and Orleans park. Here’s hoping that today is just as good .
Have fun , be safe and good luck fishing
