Butterworms typically measure 1/2 – 1 1/2″ in length. They are a orange-yellow color and have a slightly oily feeling. They smell sweet and this is why they are called Butterworms. Theyare the larval stage of a Trevo or Tebo Moth- killer bait for the trout released in all the local ponds.

Since last week the white bass have been moving in-should be in there thick and heavy . They should also be up in swan creek by now.
Paddle tails in white, silver and green have been really good baits.
The cold yesterday slowed it down a bit but a good number of anglers still got a few.
