BLUEGRASS ISLAND:   Crossing is permitted

Button wood, Davis and Bluegrass island are the most likely areas today to try , as those areas have the best current in this water level.

Here In March 2026, Maumee, Ohio, experiences rapidly increasing daylight, starting with a 7:57 am sunrise today . Daylight Saving Time begins on March 8, 2026, pushing sunset times past 7:30 PM for the remainder of the month

Yesterday Just about everything was caught in the bluegrass Island/buttonwood campground area.

Water levels are low but looks like we’re getting a little bit of water on its way from Indiana so the level should slowly come up. Also yesterday was very warm, mid 60s ambient temperature so that helps warm the water up. I’m thinking today should be decent, I don’t know about limits but we should see more fish caught today.

Probably best bet would be same as yesterday Bluegrass Island/buttonwood. And maybe venture up to Jerome Rd., Rapids see if there’s any action up there.
