Well the Walleye are in.
They are in and starting to see a few numbers come in, a limit here and there.
It has been a good long while since we had a decent rain like we had yesterday. That rain will warm the water up right there to that 40 to 42° range and we can expect a nice big push of Walleye fresh in from the lake this weekend.
Of course the water is on the rise so anglers will be able to spread out and hit just about every public access site out there on the river. With the water coming up the walleye can move further and further upstream. Jerome Rd., Rapids and all the way up through Bend view Metro Park should be pretty good in the coming weeks.
Now maybe tomorrow but for sure this weekend ,Orleans Park will be producing some walleye. That area is especially good during high water.
Bundle up, that temperature outside went from 74° on Tuesday to 34° Wednesday night.
we still have plenty of waiters, fishing line, floaters, weights, and live bait. We are expecting a fresh shipment of Emerald shiners today.
have fun, be safe, and good luck fishing
