Maumee River Report – 22 March , 2020- Today is going to be Better!

Oh man it got cold yesterday-down in the 20′ s -fishing was tough with the cold and the high water. BUT we did see a few anglers pull some fish out of Orlean s park and along the Towpath.  Today we start the warm up and the river is slowly starting to come down. There were alot of fish in there before the rain last week , now there should be even more. I imagine by Tuesday we should really be smacking them and seeing some nice limits.

Another good thing is that these last few cold nights are keeping the river temperature from rising too fast, holding steady in the mid to low 40s means things are looking good for a nice long run.
