Sounds like Buttonwood should be open back up to parking and fishing today as well.
Anglers are still out there knocking the hell out of these walleye. If you take away all the other nonfishing events and consider this walleye season only from a fishing aspect ,it has been a great year to catch some walleye in good numbers. And in reality with the very low fishing pressure this season (trust me it has been low all season), we as angers really have barely touched the population. This means this will be a good spawn and hatch–good things for the coming years.
