Well the weather finally gave us a slight break and  as a result we saw and had reports of a decent number of walleye being caught. A big jack for the weekly contest was brought in at  5.04 lbs. This weekend should be good fishing .  The reports are calling for a wintery mix of rain and snow but we need what we can get to maybe bring that water level up a bit. Regardless, the water temp has warmed 3 degrees overnight and that should trigger a pretty good bite today.
