Well the water is on the rise and that bodes well for the fishing. Even though there was some big storms that came through this half of the country just about everything that had any water in it went South of us. So we didn’t get much rain at all. The wind is blowing water in from lake Erie and a little bit of rain that the ground did not soak up is making its way slowly into the river as well. Plus it’s going to be nice and warm the next two or three days…. Hey I’m trying to be optimistic here. Yesterday the fishing was slow we didn’t see a whole lot come out of the river, the ones that did were some nice size eaters. Jerome road, Buttonwood , Davis overlook- all produced a few fish. It might be worthwhile to spread out a little bit- hit the drain pipe, fort meigs and along the towpath today.
