Yesterday was a tough day fishing . The temp dropped quickly and the water came up. So we need a day for the fish to adjust. Today we have some high winds , so I’m thinking tomorrow ought to be bangin.
The level and the water temp are both holding pretty steady so that’s good , its the sudden changes that throw the bite off.
Today with this slightly high water a few of the best places to fish will be Orleans and White street–also along the Towpath and Ford Street access will be likely places to hit as well. Tactics have to be adjusted to catch fish in this high water- of course heavier weights are required to get that lure down to the fish , but also placement is key. Look for any slight break or eddy in the current- that’s where they are laid up.
Short cast , often they are close into shore.
Have fun, be safe and good luck fishing
