BLUEGRASS ISLAND: Crossing to bluegrass Island is not permitted.
Yesterday was a tough day of fishing with the high water we have in the river. Still high today.
A lot of anglers have that instinct to wade into the river as far as they can, in these type of conditions it’s dangerous and often they’re standing right where the fish are located.
Find an empty spot, look for a current break, short cast, and catch those fish close to shore. Ive seen times when there’s guys out in the middle of the river, other anglers fish behind them and catch the fish they’re standing in.
Have fun , be safe and good luck fishing.
