Bite was a little slow yesterday but we still saw some decent white bass caught. They are still laid up pretty close to shore. Crossing to bluegrass island may be possible today as the water is finally dropped to a mostly normal level and flow. Most of the bass caught have been in that 1 lb range , not real big. So we know the big ones are still on the way. White bass are voracious and will bite on a variety of baits. Lead head with a twister tail, roostertail spinner baits. Carolina rig like whats used for the walleye, a minnow with a hook and my favorite a z-man chatterbait.
Those that know …know. These Z-MAN CHATTERBAITS are the bomb!
Have fun be safe and good luck fishing
