Maumee River report-18 june 2019

The river is up-still…since April. Been a tough year on the river, I think the news said we have had 82 plus days of rain this year. Now that doesn’t mean that the fish aren’t in there it just makes accessing them a little more difficult. 

The pike, large and small mouth bass and sheepshead are all out and feeding. Work the shorelines, grassy areas where they are feeding on small baitfish ,bugs and frogs.

Ponds and lakes are a good bet right now.
