Maumee River report- 2 August, 2020

Day two of the drizzle and slight cooldown.  The rain hasn’t been enough to change the river level at all since its mostly been drizzle and the dry ground is soaking it right up. Since we didn’t have any kayakers today I ran down to do a little business research and lo and behold  a  nice small mouth bass! Pretty exciting, may be that  this cooldown has them reactivated , because its been a very slow bite on the river for the whole month of July. It was just too hot for any action.

Alright tomorrows Monday-My advice to you,play hooky and go fishing!, Tell the boss I said its ok.
