Crossing to bluegrass island -The water is back down so crossing is Permitted

Well the pesky wind returned yesterday ,even though it was sunny and warm the wind made it tough to feel the bottom and consequently the bite. It’s not to say Maumee river master anglers didn’t get it done. Just take a look at all these smiling faces holding fish.

Today the cooler temperatures return but there is a good amount of walleye in this river especially after the water came up a few days ago. I anticipate having a really good rest of the week and on through the weekend

Today Jerome Rd., Rapids, Bluegrass Island, Buttonwood, will be the best spots to hit.

Also those fish have began to move further upstream so Bend View Metro Park and up towards Farnsworth would be likely as well.
