This is a long running Walleye run, we are still seeing daily limits from the anglers that are going out and targeting the walleye , and thats with out haveing to wade throught 25 white bass to get that one walleye–that will be next week . Right now with this rain over the next few days the river will rise and and may even bring in a fresh batch of lake fish , a few more walleye and a big push of white bass is what we are expecting. LAKE ERIE
The daily bag limit for walleye in Ohio waters of Lake Erie is 4 fish per angler from March 1 through April 30. On May 1 the daily bag limit returns to 6 fish per angler. The minimum size limit for walleye is 15 inches.
The daily bag limit for yellow perch is 30 fish per angler in all Ohio waters of Lake Erie.
The trout and salmon daily bag limit is 2 fish per angler. The minimum size limit is 12 inches.
Black bass (largemouth and smallmouth bass): the daily bag limit is 5 fish per angler with a 14 inch minimum size limit through April 30. May 1 through June 23 is closed to possession, (catch-and-release is legal). On June 24 the daily bag limit returns to 5 fish per angler.
