BLUEGRASS ISLAND: Crossing to bluegrass Island is NOT permitted/possible.
The river has risen 6-7 feet in the last day or so its up and moving fast. NO CROSSING TO BLUEGRASS ISLAND TODAY . Or any time this week for that matter. When the water comes up like this the fish like to lay up in some calmer water closer to shore. Short cast.
This high water will bring in a ton of walleye from lake erie, so once it drops im anticipating a very good weekend.
Probably best to give the river a day off and hit some ponds and reservoirs-trout stockings are starting.
The river will probably crest today and start to drop overnight, making for a very good weekend.
