‏SUNRISE/ FIRST CAST-7:12AM
SUNSET/ LAST CAST-8:03  PM
WEIGHT: -3/4 oz- 1 oz.
BLUEGRASS ISLAND- no crossing. The water  level is at 589 ft above sea level. Very high.

Careful using those 2 oz weights – they can break your rods during the cast.

We did see some limits from over on white street , that slack water is bout the only place to get into them.

As the water recedes we will see a heavy concentration of walleye.  Probably wont start to come down for a few days ,  ut we will watch and keep you posted.

GOOD

BAD

There is a ton of walleye in the river , you have a good chance of snagging into multiple fish on accident. Save yourself some snagging ticket money and release the snagged ones.  The MAN is across the river in a gillie suit watching you with ultimate power binos . So many tickets written this season its incredible.

So the rule for catching these walleye is specific.  And simple .

HOOK INSIDE THE MOUTH.

Sorry but thats it .

Whatever you heard from the guy on the river , your brother in-laws cousin, your sisters best friends cop husband , is wrong .

Not  open to interpretation .

Have fun , be safe , good luck fishing
