The days and the waters are warming, we have seen a good number of white bass caught all over the river. Lead heads and twister tails seem to be working the best right now. White and green variations. Smallmouth bass are starting to get active, there’s some good spots up by Jerome Rd., Rapids and Bluegrass to target those guys. Also up by weird Rapids and Benview Metropark are some good smallmouth areas.
Today’s gonna be in the low 70s, so it’s gonna be pretty nice. Bluegrass island is packed full of white bass right now hit the same spots via Buttonwood access.
Have fun. Be safe and good luck fishing.
