Brrr it was cold yesterday, started the morning now right around 26°. Those anglers that did venture out managed to get some limits yesterday, those fish are stacked and they’re pretty good after this big influx of water that we got over the weekend. Lots of bigger jacks coming in.
Little chilly on the bones if you’re gonna venture out to give it a shot today, but the fish don’t mind. The water is dropped another foot overnight making even more areas accessible. Stick with throwing a 1 ounce weight that out about just right today.
Probably 25 times a day I get asked if it’s worth the time to go fishing. Well, do you like fishing? Then yep its worth it. If not , the groceries got walleye at 19.99 a pound right now. Are ya gonna get skunked -yessir ,occasionally. Also somedays your going to catch them non-stop. the challenge is the fun of the sport. Sometime you get ’em , sometime you don’t.
Orleans Park, White Street, and along the Topath still should be good. Maybe even give buttonwood a shot.
probably not gonna be able to get to Bluegrass Island until the weekend.
Regardless, there is a ton of fish in that river, so…
Have fun, be safe, and good luck Fishing.
