(Sorry for the late report-my original version got wiped out this morning when I tried to post it)
The snow that was predicted showed up as light rain instead today, and the river has crested and slowly begun to drop. The river temp didnt change much over night , but this warm rain hopefully should warm it a bit and increase the bite today and tomorrow . Yesterday despite the cold the bite wasnt bad, we saw limits and some big jacks throughout the day.
The last few days Orleans,White street and the towpath have been the hotspots , as the water drops more areas will become accessible and anglers will able to spread out . Fight the instinct to crowd up on each other, the river is full of fish everywhere. We hear daily stories of anglers being on top of each other trying to hit the same hole-just look for a spot where nobody is fishing and give it a try-there are millions of fish in there -move around – your experience will be more enjoyable.
Weight- 3/4oz or heaiver
