Saturating rain from last week brought the river up over 8 ft in just 2 days. Its dropping now but with the extra rain we are getting today proably wont be down till next week. However this is prime weather and conditions to go after thos big powerful catfish, I’m talking the 20- 50 lb. beasts. They love this high water and heavy current being that they are the only creature out there capable of hunting in the dark powerful currents.
Buckets of White Bass
Eddies and calm water just out of the current are full, I say full of BIG white bass. Saw a buckets of 2 pounders pulled out today. Spinner baits and lead heads with twisters. Stop in we can point you in the right direction.

We sould see a few days of some good bass fishing as the water stays high and they remain concentrated and tucked in to sheltered areas out of the heavy current. Once that water drops they will spread back out in the main river. Im not kidding, I was surprised at all the big ones being pulled out .
Have fun , be safe and good luck fishing.
