Crossing to Bluegrass island is not a good idea today as the water is starting to come up.

Well we sent Buckshot out to the river because we got tired of waiting for that first Walleye to come in. Seems like she’s a better coach .

However Buckshot does seem to have the elusive sucker fish dialed in.
‘Tis the season to catch some fish and that’s what it’s all about- having a good time!

All right, so now we know there’s a few of the resident walleye moving around, and maybe a few early fish coming in from the lake. We probably wont see any numbers until this rain warms the river a few more degrees.

Have fun ,be safe and good luck fishing.
