Well we have had a great summer. Decent amount of rain to keep river levels and lake levels from getting too low. And now that we get towards the end of summer starting to see a decent Perch bite out on Lake Erie.

It’s a rainy day today so good day to stock up and  resupply for that Perch trip out on the lake.

We have emerald shiners, Bait buckets and bubblers, Perch pounders, Perch spreaders, weights ,hooks, rod and  reel combos, everything you need for a successful day out on Lake Erie.

Maps too of Lake Erie with all the buoys and cans marked for reference.

Now with the wind and the rain ,conditions will be different in the next couple days out on Lake Erie . But the last couple weeks we’ve been hearing decent reports of perch being caught around the intake, and off the Toledo lighthouse.
Also the Walleye bite has been relatively steady so when you head out take some Baits and Lures maybe pick up a few of those as well.

Here on the Maumee river the water has been low for the last two weeks, so most of the Fishing action has been Catfish and a few small mouth bass here and there.

The rain we get today should freshen it up and get those small mouth and maybe even a few summer walleye moving around.

Have fun, be safe and good luck fishing
