Even though we are in the heat of the summer doldrums ,these kids have managed to get out there on the water and catch some fish, while having the time of their lives.
The river has been very low for about a month now. However the rain we’re getting today and tomorrow looks like we may get a foot or a foot and a half worth of water to bring the river up. that means a couple things, it will cool the river down and get all those fish that have been cooling off in the deep pools out and moving all over the river.

And also it’ll give us a chance to do some kayaking down river on the routes that we have not been able to hit for the last month due to the extremely low water level.

Lake Erie

The walleye bite has been steady, the trollers are doing good, as always. We had a nice stretch there  when throwing worm harnesses out was killing them, and now we are getting into a good Perch bite.

We have heard out by B can , just passed the intake, and the gravel pit area have all been decent for Perch. We are seeing some limits, but mostly guys are catching 10 or 15 decent size Perch.
