Cool, cloudy, and some wind. That’s what it looks like out on the Maumee river. However there’s still a bunch of white bass in there, hopefully we get a little break in the weather and you can get to them to fill up a stringer. This has been a very good, long lasting white bass season, I don’t think we’re done yet . We should be hitting them well into this coming Memorial day weekend. Bluegrass Island, DavisOoverlook, Buttonwood, and Orleans Park have all been, and should still be, some pretty good spots to pick up some white bass and smallmouth. I hear they’re banging out the catfish pretty good all up and down the river too. If you’re going for them big ones stop in the shop we’ve got some big old stinky shad to use for cutbait.
Lake Erie- Wind started blowing two years ago and I feel like it hasn’t stopped., That’s OK, eventually mother nature is going to give us some nice sunny days to get out there and start knocking out some walleye and perch. In the meantime stop and check out our Lakeside Shop we have a bunch of good stuff to prepare for that Lake Erie adventure. Some sweet deals on boat nest, the catch counter coolers that help you keep track of how many Perch you have caught, Lake Erie chart maps just came in, Michigan stinger spoons, flats of nightcrawlers for only $55, and of course Minnows , beer and ice .
Fresh Walleye-12.99 lb (Lakeside shop only)
