Maumee River

The river has been running high and muddy since we got that rain last week . As soon as it drops we should see some action up near the Grand rapids dam area-sugeye and Crappie. I have heard some reports of some nice buffalo being caught up that way as well.

Crappie:
Fishing has still been pretty good in local creek channels in the area.

Walleye: Bundle up-the night bite at Lakeside & Huron has been awesome. Casting the reefs, Rip Rap, Piers, and shorelines has been producing early and late.  Smithwicks Perfect 10s, Husky Jerks and Bandits. There has been a good trolling bite out around the reef complex and just outside the casters -P10’s ,Bandits,  try bumping bottom with them when you are around the rocks.

Great shallow water bait are the Long A Bombers-Best thing to use out around Luna Pier MI

Nightbite has been great
