Wading to Bluegrass Island is permitted.

Weight:   5/8- 3/4 oz

All access areas including Bluegrass are accessible today and we saw a fish come in from all over the river. Remember that the walleye don’t just go up to Jerome Rapids and stop. Fish above the rapids for a change, not a soul was there yesterday despite waves of fresh walleye filling the river. Bendview park , which is a continuation of the Towpath and Farnsworth metro park are also areas with very little fishing pressure. Stop in and we can direct you to a nice peaceful area to fish.

Colors:

Today is shaping up to nice and warm, maybe a little breeze . The Maumee is full of walleye today. We are noticing a lot of smaller jacks being caught the last few days. After the jacks usually come a big wave of those giant females.  Either way should be real good fishing today.

Bulk floaters back in stock -get em now while we have them.

Have fun be safe and good luck fishing.
