Clear and cold all day yesterday with nearly identical conditions today just slightly less wind. We saw a few fish brought in to the shop and reports of  anglers out on the river getting singles and doubles. Buttonwood and jerome Rd Rapids were the good spots  and with similar  conditions anyplace with faster moving currents and some rip-rap should be good to try. Yesterday we saw some slow action as the walleye begin to move into the river in numbers.  The water level is holding steady so all access areas should be available to fish. Jerome Rd rapids, Sidecut Metro park,Bluegrass island, Buttonwood, the Towpath , Orleans Park , White street are some of the most popular places to put in and try your luck. Since the  water has  cooled as this weekend the walleye that have moved into the river may look for those deeper holes to hunker down .
