maumee river report- 12 april 2025

 3/4 to 1  oz weight-

Bluegrass Island-  Still Too high. crossing is NOT permitted.

Colors- Black head / Green tail, white head/glow in dark tail, Black head/ pink tail, Pink head/ White tail, Black head/shimmer shad tail.

Wow -it was on yesterday- the bite was very good ,with just about everyone that went out coming back with fish.

With yesterdays slightly high water conditions we saw a bunch of limits come out of the river

Today is going to be another great day and things look good all the way through the weekend. All in all its going to be a very productive weekend.

High water has kept fishermen restricted to a few safe places to fish. Not so today–spread out. Try Buttonwwod, Ft. Meigs , the Towpath, Jerome rd Rapids,Ford street Maybe get try one spot you have never been to before and where nobody is standing, you might be surprised. With the lower water all these fish are much more accessible
