Yesterday was warm, with a little bit of rain early, but both those things brought the river temp up to 40 degrees–that warm water  flowing out into the colder lake Erie has those walleye on the move. We did not see any walleye caught yesterday, but with the water being that much warmer we should see something today.  As many of you saw they have caught a few out on the sandusky river;that bodes well for all of us.

White street, The Towpath , Ford street area and Ft meigs are all accessible. Exercise caution as there is still a lot of bank ice sliding off and into the river. Keep a wary eye upstream .
