Yesterday the early morning bite was pretty good then fell off as the temperature dropped and the wind picked up.  We saw some more steelhead caught–thats been over a dozen that we know of in the last week. The rain yesterday brough the river level up about a foot which is exactly what we needed. We should see a significant change in the numbers of walleye moving upriver.

The  current has increased  and water level will rise throughout the day.  Continue to use a   36- 48 inch leader , and a heavier weight ,  3/4 or 1 oz  should keep the lure bouncing on the bottom.

COLORS: Black/ Xmas lights tail –  Red head/ shimmer shad tail  – green head/ chartrusse firetail –  black head/motor oil fire tail- yellow head /green tail   See attached photo

Keep in mind that we also have all colors available in the slightly larger 4 in tails. More visible and gives a better vibration  in this murky water
