We have started running kayaks here in Maumee, and will start running them in Grand Rapids Saturday the 25th.
The water in the maumee river is very low, and slow. This heat has had all the fish and The Fisherman very lethargic, so there hasn’t been a whole lotta action the last two days. A couple days ago there was buckets of white bass being pulling out ,but then it got real hot and slowed down, I’m kind of thinking there’s still a decent amount of white bass in there . A little bit today we might see some decent action coming into the weekend. Catfish has been steadily getting better.
Walleye, walleye, walleye… We are seeing some very good action out on Lake Erie. Once this wind dies down today again we should see a very good weekend of fishing out on Lake Erie. Even starting to hear a few perch being caught here and there out on the lake.
