Good morning after that rain the region guy yesterday the river might come up a few inches, not much, but it’ll still come up a little.
We are seeing all sorts of species of fish caught in the river . Some limits of Walleye, but you have to pick through a few catfish, some white bass, and some drum
Now the white bass have not come in fast and furious yet, but it’s bound to happen pretty soon. When we see these two and threes being caught and then one day we wake up and wham they’re a zillion in there.
The white perch bite is very good right now ( main picture) , just draw a piece of a night crawler and a small hook with a drift towards the bottom and when you feel a light tick set the hook. Not a lot of anglers have them confused with a white pass cause it looks so similar, so a lot of the reports of white bass being caught that you see and hear about are actually white perch. They taste really good too.
We are fully stocked up with nightcrawlers, green worms, leaf worms, wax worms, leeches and a fresh batch of emerald shiners .
Davis overlook and Jerome Rd., Rapids for Walleye. Along with towpath from White Street on up for white Perch and White bass.
Have fun, be safe, good luck fishing
