The maumee is a great smallmouth bass river as well-hooked in to this fighter on my walleye rig.

Easter Sunday was absolutely beautiful.  The walleye bite was slow-We saw a lot of singles and doubles. A few limits but few and far between. With the low water again hit the faster water. Another good area to hit if you have a boat or kayak is the shoreline around Audubon island- that is the island that is across from Orleans park.Around the shoreline is a deeper trench that has some decent current most of the time . If you make it out there the Maumee side of the island is always a good area to hit.

Have fun, be safe and good luck fishing
