Crossing over to bluegrass island is  not safe.

It’s May so the single hook rule has been lifted, also might fishing is permitted.

Cold , wind , rain. That describes the last 3-4 days. As a result fishing on the river has been just “ok” . The water is on the rise , but there are a ton of white bass and still some walleyes in there.
With this high water, Orleans Park should be a great spot to hit today and tomorrow. The water is still on the rise.
White  Street and ford street will be good as well.
don’t forget it  about Swan Creek- this is a creek that runs through the entire Toledo area starting off Tom river in downtown Toledo. There are a lot of really good spots to hit from downtown Toledo all the way up to swan creek metro park. For some reason I don’t think you’re allowed to fish in that particular Metropark, I’m not actually sure why but if I remember I will check into it.

spinner Baits/rooster Tails have been working very good, just toss it in a steady retrieve does the trick.

have fun be safe and good luck fishing
