Yesterday the morning bite was very good then things slowed down midayy before the picked up and started biting agin after 4pm. We did see limit s from all access areas again and looks like some of the big females are in there spawning . Saw more than a few coming in at over 10 lbs.
Today we are going to be in the high 70s and as long as the wind holds off this oafternoon it should be a good day of walleye fishing. With the water level dropping that last few inches to get down to 582 wading to blue grass island should be safe for the first time in over a week. So that will definitly be the area to try today and get into those holes that havent been fished during this past high water. It was slow at white street yesterday so with the water being at normal level moving upstreang to the faster water will be the best bet. Ft Meigs, Buttonwood, Bluegrass, Ford street and Jerome rd Rapids should all be good producers today.
