Very nice to report that we saw more than one walleye caught today.

 

Looks like a couple of nice days upon us, at least in the 60s today and tomorrow.

 

World famous sucker run is in full swing.

 

Jerome rd rapids, Bluegrass island, buttonwood , Davis overlook and the Towpath are all accessible and likely areas today. 

Myth:

Walleye fishing is only good during certain weather conditions.

Reality: Water temperature and flow are most important, walleye can be caught in a variety of weather conditions, and it’s more about the water temperature than the air temperature. Some of the best days on the river are rainy days. 90% of fishermen stay home  so you have the river to yourself, the barometric pressure is usually just right, and the fish are already wet so they dont mind.
